The Artist

VEEDA

“emotionally nocturnal.”

Music for the hours nobody posts about - the drive home, the rooftop at 2am, the moment the noise finally stops.

The Story

VEEDA’s story begins in Hungary, in a childhood grounded in warmth, imagination, and family who let her be loud. She was performing almost before she understood it was a choice - living rooms first, with the people she loved for an audience, then Hungarian television and national singing competitions. The stage never felt foreign. Even then, some part of her knew music wasn’t a hobby: it was the one place she could be fully seen.

At fifteen she crossed the ocean to the United States, carrying a quiet certainty she couldn’t yet explain - that a bigger life was waiting for her there, one where singer, musician, artist could finally be said out loud.

The years that followed held harder chapters, and the slow, unglamorous work of coming back to herself - through heartbreak and healing, through learning to trust her own intuition, through owning who she is, as an artist and as a queer woman. For a long time, fear was louder than confidence. It isn’t anymore. Two years ago the calling she’d carried since childhood became impossible to ignore.

That road is where After Midnight We Heal comes from: emotionally nocturnal dark pop and R&B - deep bass, cinematic atmosphere, the warm pulse of Latin nightlife - sung in a low, breathy alto that stays close to the ear, like someone telling you the truth at 2am. Her story was never about staying in pain. It’s about turning every chapter into voice, sensuality, courage, and freedom. It’s what healing sounds like when it goes out dancing.
